Photographing Mike Falzone - The Outtakes

And the super secret awesome project continues, as does my journey bouncing around the East Coast with my camera. This time it took me to the state of Connecticut. That’s the fancy thing about this side of the country, everything is conveniently sitting on top of each other and the whole of a coast isn’t dominated by one state. I’m just kidding California, I love you, please come back baby.

So, there’s a really funny guy on YouTube, his name is Mike Falzone. Chances are if you have a question about life between the ages of 11 and 25 he’s got a really sound answer for you - that will also make you laugh. He’s also really good at summing up my childhood in a few minutes as he highlights the big moments of the 90’s (I mean, he even talks about Roundhouse).

Mike does a lot of things both on the internet and off. He makes videos, he makes music, he makes t-shirts, he makes book (meaning he wrote one), he hosts a daily show, also, though I have no proof of this I wouldn’t be surprised if he could make unicorns*. The point is he does a lot of stuff and does it well.

This shoot was a lot of fun and laughter is a good thing. Fortunately it was not in short supply, though if you’ve seen his videos you know why. However, if his internet existence has escaped you I’d like to invite you to find out what all the fuss is about. You can find him in a variety of ways:
