Retired dreams watch over the new ones.  My final pair of pointe shoes hangs over my bed in the morning Los Angeles light.  I took a similar photo with my phone, but this one I felt was worth pulling my camera out.   Fitting since the camera is what ultimately forced these out as the main focus of my life in my adolescence.   Los Angeles, CA  May 2, 2013

So many of my posts lately have been focused on places other than the one where I live.  I live in Los Angeles, but most of the shots lately have been from the month in the North East.  Well, tomorrow I head back to that side of the country but this time to the South. I’ve done a fair few shoots in Los Angeles that were fun and exciting but I can’t share the photos yet.  So this summer look for shots of The Wanted and in a few weeks of the LA based band, Badflower In the meantime here’s one of Venice, CA.  This is another coffee shop that I frequent.  There are three that I hit with a fair amount of consistency.  I like coffee, a lot.  But here I like the London Fog with Almond Milk.
